📦 Shipping Policy
We take great care in packaging and shipping every tarantula to ensure it arrives safely and in excellent condition. Please read our shipping policies carefully before placing your order.
🚚 Shipping Methods

All live tarantulas are shipped via FedEx Priority Overnight to ensure delivery the next day.

This is the only FedEx service approved for live animal shipments that meets our safety and insurance requirements.

FedEx 2-Day, Ground, or Express Saver options are not available for live animal orders.
🏤 Hold for Pickup (Recommended)

For maximum safety, we strongly recommend Hold for Pickup at your nearest FedEx Ship Center.

This prevents temperature exposure and minimizes time spent in delivery vehicles.

You’ll receive an email or text notification from FedEx when your package is ready for pickup.
🌡️ Shipping Schedule & Weather Conditions

Live shipments are typically sent Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.

We only ship when temperatures are between 40°F and 90°F (4°C–32°C) at both the origin and destination.

If weather conditions fall outside this range, we will hold your order until it is safe to ship.

You will be notified by email if your order is delayed due to weather.
🕸️ Delivery & Signature Requirement

A signature is required upon delivery. Someone must be present to receive the package on the first delivery attempt.

Failure to accept delivery on the first attempt voids the Live Arrival Guarantee.

If no one will be home, please choose Hold for Pickup during checkout.
🌍 Shipping Restrictions

We only ship within the continental United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories).

We do not ship internationally.

Customers are responsible for knowing and following all local and state regulations regarding tarantula ownership.
📬 Tracking & Communication

Tracking information will be emailed as soon as your order is labeled for shipment.

We are not responsible for delays caused by FedEx, weather, or other events beyond our control.
If a delay occurs, we will work with you to ensure the tarantula’s safety and reschedule shipment if needed.
